I have installed AVR Studio 6.2. but I can't open it. Maybe because I have Windows XP 64 bit OS with 1 GB RAM and 1.8GHz AMD Turion processor? Is there any way I can run AVR Studio with this configuration?

Yes, you can run AVR Studio with your configuration. The only issue is the version of Windows which you have installed on your system, as AVR 6 is compatible with Windows XP (SP 3), but only with the 32-bit version. Also, if you have the 64-bit version of the software, you should have 2 GG of RAM installed on your machine. You should consider upgrading your operating system as Windows XP will constantly lose support from software developers. You can check the system requirements for AVR by accessing Atmel's website.

C/C++ is OK, but I also need to use it with some Basic programs. Can it do that?
Regards,
Hans.
I am afraid that the application does not have support for the Basic code and programs.
